Meditation for the Holiday

Just some thoughts as I muse on God's faithfulness to me these three decades and a scant more...

Hoping your heart is filled with joy as you look forward to the weekend.  And praising God with you for all He's doing in your lives as well.

My heartfelt thanks to my Creator, springing forth in the words below.  Be blessed this Thanksgiving....

Thankful

For the day for the way

That You opened my heart

For the strife in my life

And the shine in my eye

Thankful

For the peace and the joy

When alone or hemmed in

When Your Grace finds me faithful

Or over Your knee

Grateful

When the clouds threaten black

Or flowers spring up blue

When answers seem scare

Or found simply in You

Praising

Feeling close to my dear ones

Or distant and pained

When standing in victory

Or feeling the rain

Hopeful

For all that has come

Or ever will be

When not feeling certain

Or laughing with glee

Trusting

Winds may blow as they have

And will come yet again

But You’ve proven Your love

And I’m standing here
